Frank J. Smith is a native New Mexican. After graduating from Manzano High School in Albuquerque, he enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps. His tours of active duty included serving as a Personnel Chief at Marine Corps Air Station, El Toro, CA; a Marine Drill Instructor at MCRD San Diego; NCOIC of the Marine Detachment at the Defense Language Institute, Monterey, CA; and Personnel Chief to the Chief of Staff, 2nd Marine Division, Camp Lejeune, NC. After active duty he attended college under the G.I. bill earning a B.A from UNM and a J.D. from Santa Clara School of Law.
Frank has worked as a small business owner/operator and later as an Automotive Sales Manager for over 20 years. He currently owns a small business providing midterm rentals to visiting first responders.
