Dear Veterans, Military Families, and Friends,

The past few weeks have reminded us how quickly the world can change. International conflict, political debates, and upcoming elections dominate the headlines, creating uncertainty both overseas and here at home.

For those of us who have served, uncertainty is nothing new. We understand that leadership is measured not only by decisions made during a crisis, but by a steadfast commitment to our enduring values.

The New Mexico Veterans and Military Families Caucus was founded on these principles. Our mission has never been about personalities or political victories; it is about ensuring that veterans, service members, military families, and survivors have a strong voice in New Mexico.

This year alone, we have continued to advocate for policies that strengthen veterans’ benefits, improve access to services, support our military installations, and recognize the sacrifices of those who wear and have worn our nation’s uniform. These accomplishments belong to every member who has volunteered, testified, contacted legislators, or stayed engaged.

As we move toward the November election, our focus remains unchanged. We will continue working with anyone, regardless of party, who is willing to improve the lives of New Mexico’s veterans and military families. Service does not end when we take off the uniform, and neither does our responsibility to one another.

Thank you for your continued dedication to this Caucus and to the values we share. Together, we will continue to make a difference for those who have served and the families who serve alongside them.
