Fellow Veterans, Military Families, and Friends,

Election season is here, and early voting begins soon.

As veterans and military families, we understand the meaning of responsibility. Citizenship means showing up, participating, and doing our part.

Whatever your circumstances, please make a plan to vote. Decide whether you will vote early, by absentee ballot, or in person on Election Day. Check your voting location and hours ahead of time.

I also encourage you to bring someone with you. Call a friend, check on a neighbor, remind a fellow veteran, or ask a family member about their voting plan. Often, a simple invitation is all it takes.

Our Caucus has spent this year advocating for veterans and military families, supporting key legislation, engaging candidates, and ensuring our community’s voice is heard. Voting is how we exercise that voice.

We served knowing that democracy requires participation. This election season:

  – Make a plan.
  – Cast your vote.
  – Take someone with you.
